Glass curtain walls installation method:

3. Fix the connecting piece according to the center position of the measured connection point to ensure firmness.

4. The installation of unitized curtain wall should be carried out from bottom to top. The component curtain wall frame material should be installed from top to bottom.

5. After the element curtain wall frame material or the unit curtain wall units are connected to the joints, the entire curtain wall should be inspected and rectified, and then the joints should be welded to the embedded parts of the main structure (including anchor bolts) .

6. The gaps of the unitized curtain walls are sealed with V and W-shaped or other types of rubber strips, which are densely packed and must not be missed.

7. The component curtain wall should be installed according to the design drawings. After the glass is installed in place, it should be fixed to the frame with embedded materials such as rubber strips in a timely manner, and no temporary fixation or open floating is allowed.

8. The rubber strips on each side of the glass should be a single piece of material, and they are disconnected at the glass corners. The rubber strip model should be correct and the mosaic should be flat.

9. The sealant applied on the outside of the rubber strip should be correct (the use of acetate-type organic silicone glue is strictly prohibited on the coated surface of the coated glass).

10. The gap of each unit of the unit curtain wall, the gap between the frame materials of the element curtain wall, the gap between the frame material and the glass, and all other gaps should be left according to the design drawings.

11. The gaps between the units of the unitized curtain wall and the gaps between the glass of the hidden curtain wall should be installed according to the design requirements to maintain uniformity.

12. After welding the galvanized connectors, the coating should be removed, and the weld surface of the damaged galvanized surface should be painted with two anti-rust paints. All materials in contact with aluminum alloy profiles (including Lianyungang junctions) and structural measures shall comply with the design drawings, shall not cause contact corrosion, and shall not be in direct contact with cement mortar and other materials.

13. The lightning protection grounding of the curtain wall, as well as the installation and construction of all construction nodes (including fire protection nodes) and closing nodes should be carried out according to the node construction requirements specified in the design drawings.

14. The detergent used to clean the curtain wall should be inspected. It should have no erosion effect on aluminum alloy profiles, glass and sealant strips, and should be rinsed in time.
